Description
This project, funded by Italy through the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), and led by CISP in partnership with Ana Aqra Association, aims to support vulnerable internally displaced persons and returnee families through the distribution of hygiene kits, food parcels, and NFIs, as well as the reinstatement of public schools used as collective shelters.
In partnership with Ana Aqra, the project also provides Psychosocial Support, Child Protection, and Education in Emergencies services for displaced children and caregivers across Beirut and Mount Lebanon.

Goals
To improve living conditions, psychosocial well-being, and protection of IDPs and returnees in Beirut and Mount Lebanon.
Activities
- Distribution of material assistance (hygiene kits, NFIs, food parcels, dignity kits).
- Psychosocial Support, Child Protection & Education in Emergencies
- Civil works for the rehabilitation of public schools.
Output and results
- 700+ families benefiting from distributions of material assistance.
- 14+ schools and learning centers supported through rehabilitation work (reinstatement).
- 800 children (age 5–9 and 10–12) receiving Psychosocial Support and/or Education in Emergencies sessions and benefiting from continuous monitoring of protection conditions/risks.
- 1679 primary caregivers participating in PSS group sessions.
